Alumni

The DAPP College of Education, established in 2012, has been instrumental in training teachers dedicated to serving rural communities in Zambia. The inaugural graduation in 2014 saw 31 students completing the Zambia Teacher’s Education Course (ZATEC) certificate program.

By 2025, the college celebrated its fifth graduation ceremony, with 42 teachers earning diplomas in primary school teaching.

The institution’s motto, “moulding another kind of a teacher,” reflects its commitment to producing educators equipped to work in underserved areas. While specific details about an alumni network akin to Kingster’s 150,000-strong community are not readily available, the DAPP College’s consistent output of qualified teachers contributes significantly to education in rural Zambia.

Education Tours

As part of the unique training programme the first year students conduct a two month educational tour using the school bus. This tour builds team work, challenges the students to cross boundaries, widen their horizon, trains them to find solutions to obstacles meeting them on the way, teach them to embrace gender equity, to learn from experiences and much more.

Welcome to DAPP Mkushi College of Education, a place of tranquility and holistic training of another model of teacher.  Located in the heart of Mkushi district in Musankamba area, the school provides a natural beautiful environment to nourish the frontiers of knowledge. 

Our lectures, staff and Partners are welcoming and committed to helping you, our current and prospective Students achieve your academic and holistic goals.  The college opened its doors to in 2003, to contribute trained teachers in very unique way, to meet the needs and bridge the gap in the education requirements of rural based schools.  Our work and training have over the years seen important strides made brining education closer to the grass roots communities.  

DAPP College community rakes in different person and cultures, creating a balanced harmony in diversity.  A common home away from home, a place to equip you with the knowledge and life skills for a journey of a life time as another kind of teacher.
